Thermal Imaging Pest Inspection Services
Thermal Imaging Cameras
Thermal image cameras can be used to help detect if there are termites. They allow us to detect differences in temperature ranges in building.
It gives us the ability to detect termite nests and termite activity in a wall or concealed area of your building.
Like all termite inspection tools there are limitations on thermal imaging cameras.
Thermal imaging is a non invasive and non destructive way of inspecting a building.
We do not use the thermal image camera if the temperature is above 24 degrees Celsius. Or if there is a heating or cooling system operating at the time of inspection. A stable ambient temperature is best, when operating a thermal image camera.
When used by a experienced operator in conjunction with other aids / tools thermal imaging can reveal far more than a visual inspection only.
Like all insects, termites vary there activity depending on temperature and humidity.
Please Note: Thermal imaging cameras have limitations and are not X ray machine
The use of Termatrac Radar
The use of Radar has revolutionised the way we conduct termite inspections and termite control services. Radar technology gives us the ability to accurately detect termites behind most building materials. (limitations do apply )
The Radar allows you us detect movement within a wall, or structure to help us when we do a termite inspection. We can detect the exact location of termites. This means we can determine the full extent of the termite activity.
When used by a experienced operator in conjunction with other aids / tools, radar can reveal far more than a visual inspection only.
Termatrac Radar is a non invasive and non destructive way of inspecting a building or premises.
